I recently got the chance to shoot some graduation photos at the iconic Jefferson Memorial in Washington DC, and let me tell you, it was such a blast! One of my favorite things about being a graduation photographer in DC - IS THE OUTFITS! S arrived wearing this stunning red dress that just completely popped against the backdrop of the memorial. You know the classic white marble? It’s all about contrast, and that dress was like a vibrant cherry on top!

Now, if you've ever been near that beautiful site, you might know that the winds can be a little wild, especially near the water. But she totally owned it and braved those gusts like a champ! We had more than a few hair-blowing moments, but it just added this fun and dynamic energy to the photos. Seriously, those winds made for some unexpected, yet gorgeous shots with her flowing dress, giving the whole theme a bit of drama. And honestly, who doesn’t want that kind of flair added to their DC grad photo session?

As we wandered around the memorial, I kept reminding her to relax and have fun, focusing on the excitement of this big day. We captured everything from candid giggles to those perfectly poised cap and gown shots. The Jefferson Memorial just brought out this elegant vibe, perfectly fitting for a college graduation session.
